I love reading, and read Women's Fiction, Chick Lit (yes it is a valid genre!) and have recently discovered some thriller writers. Some of my favourite authors are Jilly Cooper, Lindsey Kelk, Miranda Dickinson, Rowan Coleman, Claire Sandy, Angela Clarke... the list goes on!
I'm a mother of four brilliant children, and wife to a long-suffering husband.
I self-published my first novel "My Unintended" (over 18s only, and do not read if you are offended by bad language or rude things! Or bad writing – it was my first attempt and I like to think I have learned a little since then) on Amazon, and the sequel is half-written. I will finish it one day.
I'm currently writing a new novel, having been inspired by the Open University's free online course via FutureLearn, Starting Writing Fiction. I've also signed up to NaNoWriMo 2016. There – I've said it. Guess I have to do it now!
I'm in my second year as a member of the Romantic Novelists' Association's New Writer's Scheme. I've attended the Books in the City Creative Writing Master Class and made some amazing friends and contacts in the bookish world, and feel so honoured to be part of such an amazing community.
I have a slightly obsessive personality, which means my poor family have to put up with me twittering on about Muse. Muse are the greatest band ever to have walked this universe.
